Terms and conditions

By using this website or ordering any merchandise from us, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms and conditions of use and agree to be bound by them. These terms may be amended from time to time.

  1. Pricing and availability:
    The prices of the goods are as specified within the mode…information Belgium site. Each price, as displayed in euro, is exclusive of VAT (at the standard Belgian rate ) Prices can vary from month to month. In the event that the goods are temporarily unavailable, mode...information Belgium shall, following confirmation of your order, send you a notification by email and allow you to cancel your order. Your creditcard will be debited on receipt of your order.
  2. Delivery of goods:
    The delivery address that you supply will be the delivery address that mode…information Belgium places on the packaging. The cost of replacement due to any failure of delivery caused by a wrongly supplied address will be born by the purchaser.
  3. Shipments: In most cases we ship our products with international transport companies via letter or parcel post.
  4. Delivery time: We normally deliver within 1 - 2 working days after receipt of your order. So you will normally receive the goods within 3 - 4 working days after receipt of your order.
  5. Shipping costa:
    Please note that these postage and/or shipping costs vary depending on weight and destination. Shipping costs for orders placed at mode...information Belgium depend on the desired shipping method.
    Shipping costs for standard delivery within Europe:
    1. Goods with a value of more than EUR 400,00: Free of charge
    2. Goods with a value of less than EUR 400.00: a fixed rate of EUR 17.50 net is invoiced.
    Shipping costs for standard delivery to all other countries:
    1. Goods with a value of more than EUR 2000.00: Free of charge
    2. Goods with a value of less than EUR 2000.00: a fixed rate of EUR 56.00 net is invoiced.
    Delivery by courier and/or express services are more expensive; the rates for the relevant service apply. Complaints due to non-receipt of goods shall only be accepted if sent by courier or registered mail.
  6. Customs:
    You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.
  7. Right to cancel or return:
    According to Belgian jurisdiction and the law of 14 july 1991, relating to commercial practices and to information and consumer protection, the customer has the right  during 14 working days, following the day of delivery of the goods, to cancel the purchase. This right however does not apply for the professional buyer. If the purchase concerns personalised goods, this right also doesn't apply.

    Cancellations can be done by e-mail or by registered mail, addressed to mode…information Belgium.
    Purchaser's right to cancel depends on the return of the complete goods within 3 working days starting from the day of cancellation by e-mail or by registered mail.
    Returned goods must be delivered together with their delivery notes, in mint condition and in the original package, also in mint condition.
    Mode…information Belgium refunds the amount of the concerned order as soon as the returned good(s) have been received and for as much as the concerned goods are in mint condition.
    Shipping costs for returned goods are at the expense of the purchaser, except in case of non-conform delivery.
    Any disagreement relating to the MODE…INFORMATION website is governed by Belgian law. The courts and tribunals of the district of Gent have sole jurisdiction.
  8. Subscriptions:
    Subscription periods are 12 months and are to be paid in advance. All subscription invoices are sent from mode...information GmbH Overath 51491 Germany. Renewals will be effective at the reception of the payment. Subscriptions are purchased from mode...information GmbH Overath 51491 Germany or from the editor directly. Prices do include transport costs worldwide. mode...information Belgium cannot be held responsible for non reception of publications sent by editors directly. 
    Term of Contract: Subscription starts with the next deliverable issue. Subscription is automatically extended by a period of 12 months unless notice in writing had been submitted at Mi-B three months prior to expiration. The receipt of the notice at MI-B is
    decisive for its timeliness.
  9. PANTONE®:
    Deliveries of PANTONE® Color Systems, Swatch Cards or Replacement Pages will not be returned or exchanged.
  10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
    Belgian Law in Gent shall govern in case of disputes between mode…information Belgium and the purchaser.
