The journey started with ARTS & CRAFTS continues with LIBERTY and ends with the ARTDECO, which lasted from 1920 to 1940. It is characterized by the extreme geometric synthesis, refined and elegant. References to nature are rare and episodic but always tasteful. The decoration has become modern, curved lines intertwine with rectangular planes and lines in an interlacing that stands out more in the architecture and the realization of design objects. In the end, this style was shattered by the austerity of World War II.
